It's been an exiting year for the STC and our Chapter.
For the STC, it was another successful conference. Bay Area STC members were lucky this year as the conference was held in our own backyard of Sacramento. All those who attend heard some great talks from knowledge speakers and got to mingle with fellow tech writers.
For our Chapter, it was also a successful year: we made the move to our new current location at the SFSU Downtown Campus. We're received some great feedback from guests about the closeness to public transportation and food options in the food court downstairs. And, with the room rental savings, we're been able to keep prices the same--and even start offering some food to guests again!

I would like to thank all of our speakers for taking time out of their busy schedules to come to our meetings. They've brought great insight and interesting ideas to our meetings each month.
Although the presenters are the heart of our meetings, our Chapter volunteers are its backbone. So a very special thanks to Mysti, Marc, Andra, Marie, Larry and Keith!
And, 2012 looks to be another great year! We're already starting to book more exciting speakers and think of ways we can offer additional benefits to our members.
