Letter From the Editor

Dear Readers,

In addition to the regular features, this issue offers a book review by Richard Mateosian that focuses on energy use and policies interact locally to the US and globally. Although it does not directly discuss technical communication issues, it can serve as a model for addressing change within our profession.

You, too, can submit an article such as a book review, hints and tips on tools, or a recommendation for a speaker, seminar, or class that is related to technical communication. We also welcome letters to the editor that comment on such issues as industry trends or recent presentations. (Legal stuff: Please remember that the chapter does reserve the right to edit all submissions, remains the sole arbiter of whether to accept an article for publication and when to publish it, either in whole or in part, and that if your article includes copyrighted material, you must obtain permission to publish it from the copyright holder.)
