Service, chapter service in particular, is what keeps our profession growing and keeps our members learning. I encourage each one of you to participate in any way you can to help our chapter grow and to help yourselves learn new skills. When you take on a service commitment as an STC chapter leader, you are investing in your professional growth.
Please consider your professional growth when you are approached by any one of the chapter leaders and are asked to join us in leading the chapter to continue to provide excellent programming to our members. Your membership in our chapter, your attendance at our monthly meetings, and your ability to participate in our quarterly leadership meetings all help to keep our professional community strong.
