President's Notes and News

Hello everyone. 2008 has begun, and I look forward to attending our chapter's presentations that are scheduled for this quarter.

First, I want to say "thank you" to all of the people who attended the holiday party. Food, wine, good conversation, and raffle prizes highlighted this evening of mirth and merriment.

Second, I want to let you now about the upcoming slate of events. The STC San Francisco chapter has scheduled the following meetings:

• February: The Pulse of Today's Job Market: 3 Inside Perspective Panelists with Andrew Davis, Mira Wooten, and Tim Bombosch
• March: Information Architecture with Andrea Ames
• April: Developing Personas with Joan Lasselle

Third, I want to thank the people who have recently volunteered to participate in the leadership group. Volunteerism helps us to provide our members with superior programming and meetings. It also helps us hone our professional skills in addition to helping us develop new skills.

I look forward to a very productive and inspiring year.
