The San Francisco Bay Area chapters are hosting the Society Board meeting in August. To celebrate this, we are holding a celebration on Saturday, August 18, after the board meeting. We invite you to come to the board meeting to see how the Society is governed and what issues it faces, and then stay for a presentation, idea exchange, and celebration.
The Board meeting on Saturday, August 18th, at the Doubletree Hotel in Berkeley, is open to all. Afterward (starting at 5 PM), STC president Linda Oestreich will make a presentation on "STC Recent Happenings and What's to Come…", and the Board will field questions from the group. Then we can all eat, drink, and mingle.
